UC Retirement Savings Plan update

UC Regents approve loans and withdrawals from UC Retirement Savings Program plans for those impacted by COVID-19

On May 21, 2020, the UC Board of Regents voted to implement provisions of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) designed to make it easier for participants to access funds from their retirement savings plans.

Virtual Book Clubs and More

The Retiree Center staff has been busy thinking of ways to stay connected both to the university, and to one another. We've thought of two activities we can try: 1) a book club, and 2) a technology lesson on using Zoom meetings. We've prepared a short survey so that you can tell us if you would want to join us in either of these activities.

Updated Guidance for 2020 Retirees

Due to a shift to remote operations at the Retirement Administration Service Center due to COVID-19, new guidance has been issued for any employee seeking to retire between now and July 1st, 2020. Please review the PDF attachment below.

Retiree Center Closure Updates

Dear Retirees & Friends-

At the UC Davis Retiree Center, we’re taking every precaution we can to help ensure the health and safety of our retired UC Davis staff and faculty, as well as their spouses and family. Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve modified our operations to address the COVID-19.

With that in mind, here are a couple of important updates about our operations over the next few weeks:

UC Launches UCRAYS

UC has launched UC Retirement At Your Service (UCRAYS) — a new retirement website that will give UC faculty, staff and retirees greater access and more ways to view and manage their retirement information. This new website will eventually replace At Your Service Online (AYSO) after all UC locations have transitioned to UCPath for our 130,000 active faculty and staff members and more than 77,000 retirement benefit recipients.
