Retiree Center Operations

The Retiree Center and its staff are available for virtual and in-person appointments.

Meetings are available Monday through Friday, 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. based on availability. We are available to meet via Zoom or in-person. Please call 530-752-5182 or email us: retireecenter@ucdavis.edu to set-up an appointment.

Should you have general questions that do not require an appointment, you are encouraged to call us at 530-752-5182 or send us an email at retireecenter@ucdavis.edu. We are available by phone and email from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m., 1:00 - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. We are not retirement counselors at the Retiree Center, if we are not able to answer your questions we will refer to someone who can assist you. If you struggle with technology or do not have access to a computer we are happy to help you with the retirement process. We cannot advise only guide.

Retirement Help Desk Sessions: These sessions will resume in 2025

If you are planning to retire on July 1st or soon, you are invited to the Preparing for Retirement Help Desk Series with UC Davis Benefits Counselors, Health Care Facilitators, Fidelity Workplace Financial Consultants, and UC Davis Retiree Center. These Retirement Help Desks are intended for those considering retirement from UC within the next 3-12 months. We will be answering questions you may have regarding your UCRP Pension, Retirement Savings Plans (403b, 457b, DCP), process in UCRAYS, Retiree health coverage including projected costs and Medicare coordination. 

Additionally, here are resources to help you prepare and make the transition to retirement as smooth as possible.

The UC Retirement Administration Service Center introduces dedicated support for survivors and beneficiaries

The UC Retirement Administration Service Center has met a critical milestone in their strategic initiative to rebuild the center’s operations — the launch of a new team and phone line (888-825-6833) dedicated entirely to serving the survivors and beneficiaries of UC employees and retirees. This specially trained team will offer a high-touch experience, delivering benefits as quickly and smoothly as possible.

2023 TAX INFORMATION:

Tax season is upon us, and your documents can be easily retrieved through your UCRAYS account. Need help logging into your account? Just call the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) at (800) 888-8267 and select option 1. Tax information for 2023 will be available by January 31, 2024. 

To view or download your 2023 tax statements or 1099-R, select “Tax Statements” on your UC RAYS dashboard. If you opted to get your tax statements through the mail, it will be sent to the address on file by January 31, 2024. 

Accessing UCPATH as a Retiree or Former Employee: 

If you retired in 2023 you will have to access UC PATH to get your W-2 for the time you were employed. Use link below to access UC PATH as a "former employee".

Yolo County VITA Coalition - Tax Assistance

Free Tax Filing Service Beginning February 3rd!
Students in VITA will have tax sites at Mary L. Stephens Library every Tuesday and the Activities and Recreation Center (Meeting Room #1) every Saturday to help qualifying taxpayers file their 2023 tax returns for the 2024 tax season.
