Osher Lifelong Learning at UC Davis is hosting a FREE Zoom lecture by Ken Verosub, distinguished professor emeritus in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at UC Davis, on Monday, March 13 at 1 p.m.     

Just two weeks before the massive February earthquake in Turkey, Dr. Verosub was there, observing the seismic resistance of structures in the region, among other things. Dr. Verosub will share his observations and data in a 90-minute lecture on this legendary quake as well as recent aftershocks in southeastern Turkey and northwestern Syria.
