The Council of University of California Emeriti Associations (CUCEA) and the Council of University of California Retiree Associations (CUCRA) leadership have responded to Jagdeep Bachher’s kind invitation to have a Q&A webinar featuring questions you would like to ask him. All retirees and emeriti are welcome. 

Jagdeep Singh Bachher is responsible for managing the UC pension, endowment, short-term, and total-return investment pools. He reports directly to the Board of Regents on investment matters and the President on administrative issues related to managing a group of more than 60 investment professionals and staff. 

Jim Chalfant (UCD), an Agricultural and Resource Economics Emeritus, well known in Academic Senate circles, has agreed to host the Webinar.

Questions can be submitted during the webinar using Zoom’s chat feature and Jim will try to get to them all. However, you are encouraged to send your questions in advance to Harry Powell hpowell@health.ucsd.edu and Jim jim@primal.ucdavis.edu so they can be organized in a manner to cover a majority of topics.
