Caring for a loved one with a chronic or debilitating condition is a reality that many of us now face.  While this can be a rewarding experience, it can also be difficult at times.  Frequently, the mental and physical health of those providing the care is impacted by the long hours and emotional strain that such care often requires.  ASAP is starting a monthly drop-in caregivers support group designed to provide a range of supportive services to UCD employees who provide care to those they love.  In this ongoing group, we will provide information, assistance and support in an effort to help caregivers remain healthy, improve their caregiving skills, and become knowledgeable about the caregiving process.

Date: The last Monday of each month, beginning 2/25/08
Time: 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
    Location: HR 182
